There were 5 of us taking advantage of the "happy hour" The food was good but the atmosphere/decor is so so. The bill came to around $142 w/o tip. I think the price is rather high for Bend in my opinion and their portion is rather skimpy. You want sushi and do not want to dish out $30 a person, try TOMO on Mondays when they have their half price special on many of their items and their portions are large (6 to 8 slices) per roll.

My wife and I have been to Pine Tavern twice since their grand opening. We love their fried green beans, and their beef sliders and their onion rings. I would not recommend their mushrooms on their happy hour menu. The mushrooms are soggy and have no flavor. The artichokes are not worth paying for what little you get. My wife likes their wine and I like their tap beer and their price. I would give Pine Tavern a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10.

My wife and I have been to TOMO three times in last three weeks. Once on Tuesday and twice on Monday. We loved their seaweed salad and their miso soup. Their Monday special 1/2 off on their sushi is your best bet. We loved their spider rolls and their crunch Calif rolls as well. We ordered
eight items and shared their large beer and it came to just about $30 not including the tip. We ended up taking some of it home since we could not consume all at one sitting. I would give this place a 9 or 9.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I would strongly recommend Tomo.

Wife and I went to 900 Wall for their "happy hour". Wife had two glasses of white house wine and I had two glasses of beer. I ordered Tecate and I did not expect to be in a can. I also noticed that the server was also was serving PBR in a can. I expected a restaurant of this caliber to serve tap beer. My 2nd beer was one of the beer on tap. We also ordered four appetizers (caesar' salad, pork slider, fried green beans and their caramel corn. The caesar's salad, pork sliders and the fried green beans were excellent. The caramel corn came in little pieces and it tasted burnt. I think they must have scraped the bottom to fill the oder, I think there were total of FIVE large pieces.

Also the menu prices were different on my wife's verses the menu that I was given,

I would give this place a 6 on scale of 1 to 10.

My wife and I have eaten here 3 times. Every time the service has been good, the drinks are always good, but the food has a lot of improving to do. The food reminds me of something I would get at a 24 hr chain resturant. Go have a local beer and enjoy the view, but don't waste your money eating here.

My wife and I went to Anthony's on Thursday around 4:30 and it was not crowded thus we were able to find a seat. We had two glasses of wine and two beers and four appetizers. Try their Kobe sliders and oysters on the half shell, they are excellent. Total bill came to under $45 including the tip. I am planning to go back again since I had a nice experience.

My wife and I went to Typhoon for their happy hour and ordered 5 appetizers
and 4 beers and the total bill came to under $50 including tip. The least expensive happy hour place I found thus far and the food was excellent. The place was very nice. I was informed that Typhoon has a sister restaurant/bar next door called BO and they have a dollar beer on Thursday nights. I will check it out next.

My wife and I went to the 5 Fusion for the "happy hour" and had 2 drinks each at $5 apiece and also had 5 appetizers. The place was very nice and the price was very reasonable. During the night we (both) had bad stomach cramps and had to use the bath room a few times and we decided it was from the food. I do not know how clean their food preparation area or the person making the food is but we are not going back for awhile. Last thing we need is stomach problems from this place.

Yeah, never understood why they would take Happy Hours off on weekends. Maybe too many regular paying customers??
